First graph y = log x. The graph has a horiz. intercept of (1,0) and a vertical asymptote x=0; the concave side of the graph points downward.

To obtain the graph of log(x-2), translate the entire graph of y = log x 2 units to the right.

To obtain the graph of -log(x-2), reflect the latest graph about the x-axis.

To obtain the graph of -log(x-2)+3, translate the latest graph 3 units up.
