12/20 = 6/x
cross multiply
12x = 120
x = 10

In math, value is a number signifying the result of a calculation or function. So, in the example above, you could tell your teacher that the value of 5 x 6 is 30 or the value of x + y if x = 6 and y = 3 is 9. Value can also refer to a variable or constant. 20+12+6=38 all you need to do is find the total number of 12 , 20 , and 6 and the X and then you will find your answer :)
