It is also cheaper to travel abroad and it is cheaper to buy goods everywhere. A weak dollar means exactly the opposite.

true,When the currency is stronger it is cheaper to import cars from Germany because as soon as the dollars are converted into the Germany Euro, they will be more, thus making it cheaper, at ceteris paribus though.
