The answer is not included in the selection it should be decreasing presence of caclium or calcifying agent in sea water. Due to higher concentration of Carbon dioxide the waters turns acidic unable to maintain correct pH level and calcium presence is predominated as well, as such organisms such as corals, clams, mussels, lobsters etc., are threatened as their offspring is not able to develop the proper shell for their health.
