The correct answer is C) the fact that the statue is made from limestone.

People living at that time possessed stone carving skills and were capable of carving complex figures in stone.

The Great Sphinx of Egypt is an enormous limestone statue located in Giza, Egypt, next to Cairo. It is an impressive and mysterious limestone that has captived many scientists, anthropologists, and tourist of the world. There is no official statement about who built it and when. And the face is also a mystery. Who was the man/woman sculpted in the face of the Sphinx? The thing that could be true is that the conclusion you can reasonably draw from the Sphynx is that early Egyptians were capable of carving complex figures in stone.

B-the fact that the statue is made of an animal figure

limestone and marble are two type of stones that were used in carving. To carve a stone into any figure required a lot of expertise in stone carvings. The statute has a human head but the body is animal-like.
