The environment best beneficial mutation for a worm that had a mutated color gene which causes its body to turn green is a grassy plain.
Mutations are existent within the gene pool of a certain population. Diversity in the environment will only impact mutations if it is favorable and will thrive in the population.

The correct answer is grassy plain.

Since the mutation is causing a change of colour to green, it would enable the worms that have the mutation to hide in the green grass of the grassy plain and avoid predators. In all of the other environments, the green color of the body would be a disadvantage since it would make the individual stand out in the background and be easily spotted by the predators.
