Technician a says some clutch linings and brake linings may contain asbestos, which is very toxic. technician b says airborne dust in the shop can cause breathing problems such as asthma and throat infections. who is correct?

Both technicians are correct. Clutch linings and brake linings are materials known to contain asbestos. Asbestos is a compound that contains occupational risk for developing many diseases such as asbestosis and mesothelioma. Airborne dust in the shop may trigger asthma in people that are asthmatic. It an also predispose the people to variety of infections.
