After World War II the world discovered the Nazi Germany had murdered millions of innocent people as part of the holocaust. Seeing that human beings can treat one another so horribly changed the way many people looked at war, government, and minority rights. How could these changes have impacted the study of history?

These changes could have affected historians' views of what is right and what is wrong. Over time history may have been written differently as a result of what historians thought was okay. History written 500 years ago may have been written less wisely and sympathetically. This is my best perspective. I hope it helped.
