What are lobbyists, and describe two ways in which lobbyists influence government?

(Give an educated answer that avoids plagiarism, thank you~)

A lobbyist is someone who is sent to peacefully try to change someones mind. One way they influence government is by convincing legislators to support a certain cause. (I'm sorry its not two ways but its one)

A lobbyist is an individual who is part of a organized attempt to influence government policy. The group may contact government officials directly or a state capital. Pressure groups may also use mediums such as T.V, magazines, and newspaper advertising to get the public to support their new policies.
