Hello!

To solve this, we will use substitution and a system of equations where L=length and w=width.

66=2L+2w
L=3w-3

We know that L=3w-3, so we will plug it into the first equation to find w.

66=2(3w-3)+2w
66=6w-6+2w
66=8w-6
72=8w
9=w

Now that we know what w equals, we will plug it into the second equation to find the length.

L=27-3
L=24

We have our numbers, but let's check with the first equation.

66=48+18
66=66

The length is 24, and the width is 9.

I hope this helps!
