Native Americans never met Europeans and most of the time, they welcomed the Europeans with open arms and were glad to give them terrain guides that were perfect for conquering north and South America. Ancient Polynesians in the Pacific islands traveled for years form island to island so when Europeans came to the Pacific, Polynesians new the geography of those islands better than any other civilization in the pacific. Their routes and knowledge helped the Europeans with colonizing. Maps of mainland Asia could have come into Europe through the Silk Road. The Mughal empire were not weak but couldn’t defeat Britain, Britain obtained the maps and knowledge for conquering India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Myanmar, and China. The Arabians and their big brain inventions and large libraries on the coast of the Mediterranean were obtained by the crusades and sent back to Rome which was talked about throughout Europe which gave them knowledge of the Arabian peninsula, it also helped them in the Red Sea and the coast of Africa. Hope this helps. :)
