5x^2 + x - 2= 0
Use the quadratic formula:-
x = [ -1 +/- sqrt(1^2 - 4*5*-2)] / 2*5
= -1 +/- sqrt 41 / 10
= -0.1 + 0.64 , -0.1 - 0.64
= 0.54, -0.74 Answer
