see the attached picture to better understand the problem
we know that
in the right triangle ABC
tan 9.2°=BC/AC-----> BC=AC*tan 9.2°----> BC=22*tan 9.2°---> BC=3.56 ft
the height of the basketball hoop=BC+CD----> 3.56+5.6----> 9.16 ft
the height of the basketball hoop=9.2 ft
the answer is
the height of the basketball hoop is 9.2 ft
