Explanation:

Volume of cone =
(1)/(3)\pi r^2 h , where r= radius and h= height

As per given , we have

The volume of a cone is 141.3 cubic inches.

The height of the cone is 15 inches., i.e. h= 15 inches

Substitute all values in formula , we get


141.3=(1)/(3)(3.14) r^2(15)\\\\\Rightarrow\ r^2=(141.3*3)/(3.14*15)\\\\\Rightarrow\ r^2=9\Rightarrow\ r=√(9)=3

Hence, the radius of the cone is 3 inches.
