Karl Marx
The German journalist created a radical type of socialism called Marxism and also created communism, which he called the purest phase of socialism. He co-wrote "The Communist Manifesto" with Frederich Engel. Marx believed that capitalism would destroy itself and eventually a classless society would develop and government or the state would fall.
