Read this text trailer about the story of Cinderella. Life is not easy when you live with an evil stepmother. Cinderella spends each day doing chores, wishing for the carefree life of her stepsisters. Is there a way to escape the drudgery? When the prince announces a ball, Cinderella longs to go, but her stepmother won’t allow it. Can Cinderella find a way? Is there someone out there who could lend her a hand—or even a magic wand? What is the tone of this trailer?

serious
humorous
mysterious

Answer:

Serious.

Step-by-step explanation:

Humor is funny; comical; amusing. There is no sign of joking or comedy.

Mysterious is being beyond one's powers to know, understand, or explain. We also don't see any sign of anything that we don't know of; suspicious.

Educational is Informative, instructive; factual. The passage is clearly not giving us any info that we don't already know.

Serious this tone in writing creates a level of suspense within the reader. It increases their focus because the concepts being offered are important.

Hope this helps :)

hello!!
i would say that the answer would be mysterious because the trailer is asking its audience many questions about how cinderella’s story will turn out.
examples:
“is there a way to escape the drudgery?”
“can cinderella find a way?”

all of these questions leave the audience wondering what will happen next
i hope this helped, good luck!
