Use the pythagoras theorem:-
The hypotenuse = 1550 feet so
1550^2 = x^2 + 900^2 where x is the distance of the car from the building.
x^2 = 1550^2 - 900^2 = 1592500
x = sqrt 1592500 = 1262 ft to nearest ft.
