The correct answer is counterculture.

A counterculture is one in which a group of people go against the social norms within a certain time period. For example, in the 1950's in the United States, there was a conformist culture based on getting married, having kids, buying a home in the suburbs, having the husband go to work to make money to support the family, etc. Individuals of the counterculture rebelled against these ideas, especially women who desired to enter the workforce and did not want to have kids.
