The average rate of change is
rate of change = (f(6) - f(-4))/(6 - (-4)) = (51 - 11)/10 = 4

The average rate of change of f(x) over the interval [-4, 6] is 4.
If fx) x^2 +2x + 3, what is the average rate of change of f(x) over the interval [-4, 6]?-example-1
