Some of the achievements that women have achieved as a result of the struggle for equal rights are:

- Dress with freedom: There was a change in the representation of the female figure ( not only men could wear pants, but also women began to cut their hair, to walk alone, etc).

- Voting: Refers to the right to vote exercised by women and therefore the political and constitutional right to vote for elected public office as well as to be voted.

- Participate in the armed forces.

- Manage their own assets in marriage.

- Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination against Women, a key instrument of the United Nations in the protection of women s rights.

- Right to work.

- Education rights.

It resulted to more women joining the work force as well as college.
The women movement impact was felt in the 1980's when around 40% of women had already joined the workforce in USA and several western countries. In addition, several women had already been enrolled into college.
