3. Divide (x^2 - 4x + 8) / (x - 2)


A. x-2 - 4/x-2

4. Divide (9x^2 - 27x + 25) / (3x - 5)


A. 3x - 9 - 25/3x - 5

B. 3x - 4 - 5/3x - 5

C. 3x - 4 + 5/3x - 5

D. 3x - 9 - 5

I used synthetic division on the first one cuz I could and got that D is the answer for that one (#3); the next one I used long division and got C. Learn how to do this because it's a method of factoring and factoring is everywhere...it's just as important as being able to solve equations.
