For this case, the first thing we must do is define variables.
We have then:
h: number of hours
t: temperature
We now write the equation that represents the problem.
We have then:
t (h) = -2h + 32
We note that for h = 0
t (0) = -2 (0) + 32
t (0) = 32
Answer:
An equation that represents the temperature, t, at your h is:
t (h) = -2h + 32
