The capacity of bucket is 16 liters

Explanation:

Let j be the quantity of water in the jug

Then

`j = 800ml`

Let B be the quantity of water held by the bucket

Then t is given that the bucket holds 20 times of water than the jug

`B = 20j`

Putting the value of j

`B = 800(20) = 16000`

We also know that

1 liter = 1000 ml

In order to convert ml into liters, we have to divide the quantity by 1000

`B = (16000)/(1000) = 16\ liters`
