Non negative whole numbers

Can be 0,1,2.....

Explanation:

In Mathematics, a polynomial is defined as

i) an expression consisting of variables, and coefficients.

ii) It involves only operation of addition, subtraction, multiplication of non-negative exponents of variables.

From the above we find that a polynomial can have variables with degree 0,1,2.....

But the degree should not be negative

and the degree should be a whole number only

Square root or cube root sign with variables will not make the function a polynomial

So possible degrees of polynomial function are all variables must have non negative integer values only as degrees.
