To calculate profit (and loss) you find the total of money made (in this case how much was made from the stocks. Then you subbract how much money was put into investing in the stocks. Then you will see if you lost money or gained it.
140(24.53)=$3434.20
$3434.20-$2993.20=$441
B. Salazar will have a profit of $441
