A solid solute is added to a liquid solvent. The solution is stirred and heated. How does stirring and heating affect the solution?

I believe that stirring moves the solute about the solution, thus allowing it to come into contact with fresh solvent and hence increasing the rate of solubility. that is the solid solute dissolves faster. Heating on the other hand increases the kinetic energy of molecules that is the average molecular motion; thus increasing the number of collisions between the solid and the solvent molecules, and this results to an increase in the rate of solubility.
