(x+1)^2 + (y-1)^2 = 64
can be written into
(x-(-1))^2 + (y-1)^2 = 8^2
The second equation mentioned above is in the form
(x-h)^2 + (y-k)^2 = r^2
which is the general equation for circles
We see that,
center = (h,k) =
(-1,1)
radius = r =
8
