The equation for a right triangle is
a^(2) + b^(2) = c^(2)

The missing side length can either be (a) or (b) it doesn't really matter, but the hypotenuse is always (c)
It'll be (a) in this

a^(2) +24^(2) = 26^2

a^(2) +576=676

a^(2) =100
square root both sides:

\sqrt{a^(2) } = √(100)

a=10

10m is the missing length
