\bf \textit{volume of a cylinder}\\\\ V=\pi r^2 h~~ \begin{cases} r=radius\\ h=height\\ -----\\ r=1.5\\ h=7 \end{cases}\implies V=\pi (1.5^2)(7)\implies V=15.75\pi

that's how many in³ are in the cylinder, and since each in³ is $0.08 or 8 pennies per in³, then the total cost of the jar is (15.75π)(0.08).
