we know that
surface area of pyramid=area of the base+[area lateral triangle sides]
in this problem
the base area is not considered
so
surface area smaller pyramid=2*[15*16.4/2]+2*[10*17.3/2]
surface area smaller pyramid=246+173-----> 419 cm²
surface area larger pyramid=2*[15*23.8/2]+2*[10*24.9]
surface area larger pyramid=357+249-----> 606 cm²
surface area of the figure=419+606-----> 1025 cm²
the answer is
the surface area of the figure is 1025 cm²
