Answer:

Option A

Volume of prism is, 180 cubic unit

Explanation:

From the given figure , we have

The length of triangular prism
l is 6 unit .

Since in the triangular cross-section we have the base (b) equals to 5 unit and the height (h) equals to 12 unit.

Using Volume of triangular prism formula: - A triangular prism whose length is l units, and whose triangular cross section has base b units and height h units, then,

Volume(V) of the triangular prism in cubic unit is given by;

V = (1)/(2) bhl

Putting the values of
l=6 unit , b=5 unit and h = 12 unit.

V =(1)/(2) \cdot 5 \cdot 6 \cdot 12

on solving we get;

V = 180 unit^3

therefore, the volume of prism is, 180 cubic unit.

First find the area of the triangle:
Area = 1/2 x 5 x 12 = 30 square units

Volume = length x area
Volume = 6 x 30 = 180 units^3
The answer is A
