22 = x + (-9)
22 = z - 9
add 9 to both sides of the equation:-
22 + 9 = z - 9 + 9
22 + 9 = z
z = 31 answer
You can check if this is right by substituting this value of z in the original equation and see if the left side = right side.
22 = z + (-9)
Let z = 31 , we have:-
right side = 31 + (- 9) = 31 - 9 = 22 = left side so the solution is correct.
