Hi there!

(3 {x}^(2) + 3x + 3) - ( {x}^(2) + 2x + 3)
First we work out the parenthesis. We can just remove them in the first part of our expression. However, to get rid of the parenthesis in the second part, we must multiply every factor by -1.

3 {x}^(2) + 3x + 3 - {x}^(2) - 2x - 3
Now rearrange our expression, in order to collect the terms later.

3 {x}^(2) - {x}^(2) + 3x - 2x + 3 - 3
Finally collect the terms of the expression.

\boxed{2 {x }^(2) + x }
The answer is boxed.

~ Hope this helps you!
