A company sells t-shirts for $6 each. They also charge a one-time processing fee of $3 per order. Jamie ordered t-shirts and paid $45 for his order. Two days later, Jamie could not recall how many t-shirts he ordered. Which shows the equation that Jamie could use to find the number of t-shirts, x, he ordered and the solution of the equation?

$45-$3
you would do this to take out the processing fee.
$42/ $6
this is because each shirt cost $6
the equation would be (45-3) / 6= 7]
your answer would be 7 shirts
