A quarter occupies a space of 0.6 cm3 and contains 2.50 times as much material as a dime. The area of a dime’s face is 2.52 cm2. Approximately how thick is a dime? Round to the nearest thousandth. (Use 3.14 for π .)

we know that

volume of a quarter=0.6 cm³
volume of a dime=0.6/2.5-----> 0.24 cm³

area of a dime=2.52 cm²

volume of a dime=area of the base*height-----> height=volume/area of the base
height=0.24/2.52-----> 0.095 cm

the answer is
0.095 cm
