If the ratio of students with green shirts to total students in a class is 3 to 8, and are 12 students wearing green shirts, how many are there without green shirts?

I think 7 because you know 3 to 8 and 12 students if you multiply 3x12 then divide by8 you get 4.5 which if we round 5 that’s how many are wearing green so now 12-5 that how you get 7 so 7 are not wearing green

Answer:

32

Explanation:

GS:S

(GreenShirt:Students)

3:8

12÷3=4

1 Part=4

8×4=32

32 Students didn't have a green shirt
