Following methods can be used to increases the dissolution of 5 g of sugar in 1 L of water

1. Increasing temperature:

Rate of dissolution increases on increasing temperature as increasing temperature, increases the motion of sugar particles thus its dissolution.

2. Stirring:

Rate of dissolution increases on stirring, as stirring increases the surface area of sugar and thus accelerates the dissolution of sugar.
