Use the formula:

A(x_A;\ y_A);\ B(x_B;\ y_B)\\\\|AB|=√((x_B-x_A)^2+(y_B-y_A)^2)

We have:

P(8;\ -2);\ Q(-3;\ 4)

substitute

|PQ|=√((-3-8)^2+(4-(-2))^2)=√((-11)^2+6^2)\\\\=√(121+36)=√(157)\approx12.5
