An x-intercept occurs where, in an ordered pair, the x-value is any number and the y-value is zero. This results in a point on the function lying exactly on the x-axis, hence why it's called an x-intercept.

Using your table, none of the x-values have a matching y-value that equals zero. So, it's safe to assume your answer is option D. None of those points cross the x-axis.
