I knew there was a formula for this, but did not remember it and so had to look it up. The formula is:
A = pi*r*(r + sqrt(h^2+r^2) )
Here, A = 3.14(4 ft)(4 ft + sqrt(36 + 16) = 140.9 square feet.
When in doubt about a formula, look it up!
