To solve this problem you must apply the proccedure shown below:
By definition, Cosine is:
Cos(angle)=adjacent side/hypotenuse
Therefore, you have:
Cos(B)=32/40
By simplifying, you obtain that:
Cos(B)=4/5
The answer is 4/5

cos b = adjacent/ hypotenuse
adjacent = 32
hypotenuse = 40
cos b = 32 / 40
divide the numerator and denominator over 8
cos b = 4 /5
The answer is option 1
