The tangent of angle is the ratio of opposite side to the adjacent side.
That is;
tanФ= opposite/adjacent
tan (P) = 16/12

To solve this problem you must apply the following proccedure:
By definition, you have:
Tan(angle)=opposite side/adjacent side
Therefore, you have:
Tan(P)=16/12
Tan(Q)=12/16
The answer is:
Tan(P)=16/12
Tan(Q)=12/16
