The teepee above is inform of a cone.
The volume of a cone is calculated by the formula,

volume = (1/3)πr²h
Where r ⇒base radius of the cone
h⇒perpendicular height of the cone.

∴ Volume = (1/3)×3.14×10²×17
=(1/3)×5338
=1779 1/3 ft³

To the nearest cubic unit the answer will be, 1780 ft³

To solve this problem you must use the formula for calculate the volume of a cone, which is shown below:
Vcone=πr^2h/3
Where r is the radius
By subtituying values, you obtain:
Vcone=πr^2h/3
Vcone=π(10ft)^2(17 ft)/3
Vcone=1780 ft^3
The answer is 1780 ft^3
