To solve this problem you must apply the formula for calculate the surface area of a circle, which is shown below:
SA=πr^2
Where r is the radius of the circle.
You have that the surface area is 206 feet^2 . Therefore, you must solve for r,as following:
SA=πr^2
r=√(SA/π)
r=√(206 feet^2)/π)
r=8 feet
The answer is 8 feet.

The swimming pool has a circular shape and its area = 206 ft²
We should know that the area of the circle = π r²
where r is the radius of the circle

solve to find r
∴ π r² = 206 ⇒⇒ divide both sides over π
∴ r² = 206/π
∴ r = √(206/π) = 8.098 or -8.098 ( the negative is unacceptable)
∴ r = 8.098 ≈ 8 ft ( to the nearest foot)

The correct answer is option 4
