Often you are told how many decimal places to use.
12867.9635 rounds off to 12868, 12868.0, 12867.96, 12867.964 (and so on) to the nearest integer, nearest tenth, nearest hundredth, (and so on).

Just round all the decimals up till you get to the whole number.
