2x^2 = 28 - x
2x^2 + x - 28 = 0
2x^2 + 8x - 7x - 28 = 0
2x(x + 4) - 7(x + 4) = 0
(2x - 7)(x + 4) = 0

x = 3.5, -4 (answer)

C. You get the 2x^2 to the other side, then you would factor the problem like you would any other factoring problem.
