D is the correct answer

(in a right triangle, if the angles are 90,45,45,the legs are equal)

{8}^(2) + {8}^(2) = x \\ 6 4 + 64 = x \\ 128 = x

x = √(128) = \sqrt{2 {}^(7) } = \sqrt{2 {}^(6) * 2} \\ = 8 √(2)

good luck

In a 45° - 45° - 90° triangle, the corresponding sides to the 45° angles are "a" and the corresponding side to the 90° angle (hypotenuse) is "a√2"

8 = a
x = a√2 → x = 8√2
