I think that the scholarly community did not trust Anna Kjellström's decision that the skeleton was a ladies since it was unbelievable. Each time somebody thinks about "warrior" a psychological picture of a man comes in mind. It wasn't a unique thought that a ladies would be a Viking warrior,so until the point when they had confirm it would be hard for them to accept a wonder such as this.
