The map shows the locations of the major oil spills in the United States since 1969. Based upon the information, what conclusion can be drawn about the impact of these spills on biodiversity in the U.S.?

WILL INSERT PIC

Biodiversity in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska has probably suffered more than all other areas.

Species richness in the tropical waters of the Bahamas and Caribbean is probably affected the most.

The waters of the Gulf of Mexico have likely experienced a decrease in biodiversity.

The west coast of the United States is likely to experience the greatest decrease in number of species.

The waters of the Gulf of Mexico have likely experienced a decrease in biodiversity. Because most of the spills happened there, so the biodiversity will decrease because so many plants and animals are killed because of the oil.
