Prob(first ball being blue) = 6 / (6 + 3 + 3) = 6/12 = 1/2
Prob ( picking a yellow ball) = 3 /12 = 1/4

As the 2 events are independent the probabilities are multiplied
So the answer is 1/2 * 1/4 = 1/8
